What We Do

Environmental & Social Justice

PROGRAMS

Future Urban Water/Community Leaders Program

  • We believe that youth are the key to achieving environmental and social justice. Our youth-led community clean-up efforts remove trash from urban communities and important urban water bodies that impact the Gulf of Mexico. Youth are paid a stipend to engage in these urban water cleanup efforts.

  • Our youth environmental and climate awareness camps and fairs aim to expose youth to green and blue solutions. We also look to put youth ideas, voices, and creativity at the center of environmental and climate justice.

YOUTH TESTIMONIALS

Resilient Youth Not Benzene

  • Resilience Is Power Program is part of a formation of over 250 environmental, climate, and social justice leaders who demand that banks not sacrifice the Gulf South through the expansion of toxic petrochemical sites.

  • We engage in direct action to demand that financial institutions defund petrochemical plants that threaten the lives and health of youth who live in vulnerable zones.

  • We implore financial institutions to fund youth resilience and community-controlled utilities.

With your support help us nurture resilient communities.

Stay tuned for our next volunteer opportunity.
