Michael has 20 years of experience in urban education and public service as a teacher, principal, executive principal, CEO, non-profit founder, and social entrepreneur, Michael's work has unapologetically centered around nurturing 'Resilience Through RELATIONSHIPs'. With a focus on community, social justice, and environmental justice, Michael designed and launched a plethora of youth mentorship and community engagement initiatives. These programs and initiatives have dramatically reduced school suspensions, increased students' time-on-task, improved community relations, nurtured parent relationships, increased ACT performance, increased graduation rates, and improved school attendance.
